Five Ways Unistage Can Transform Your Sport Relief Event!

From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014, people from all walks of life across the UK will be coming together and getting sporty for charity!

Yes, it’s almost time for Sport Relief once again, and here at Unistage, we’ve come up with some cracking ideas that your school can use our staging to put on some fab fundraisers!

1. Strut Your Stuff With A Charity Fashion Show

Hold your own sporty sewing bee and get students to rustle up some seriously stylish looks with scraps of fabric from your technology department – or their own rag bags!

Split students into teams, challenge them to come up with the best new sporty look and hold an epic catwalk competition, with prizes for the best look, the best strut and anything else you can think of!

Our flat staging can be configured easily into a catwalk and podium, giving your style-savvy students their moment in the spotlight!

2. No Need For Drama: Put On A Production

The perfect idea for schools with a flair for the dramatic! With a little help from everyone involved, you’ve still got time to put together a production that will show your audience the true meaning of Sport Relief.

Whether you opt for a fun-filled production that will have people rolling in the aisles, or tackle a moving issue that showcases some of the great work that Sport Relief undertakes, our multi-level staging, scenery and back-drops will help you tread the boards brilliantly.

3. Hit The Right Note With A Musical Evening

Choirs, orchestras, a cappella groups and unsigned bands can all raise the roof for Sport Relief by holding a musical evening. With a modest price on tickets, and refreshments for sale, it’ll be easy to draw in the crowds and have a cracking good time, too!

Whether you need single-level staging for groups, tiered staging for choirs or multi-level staging for orchestras, our versatile modular staging has got you covered, and will make sure that no budding stars get hidden at the back!

4. Britain’s Schools Have Got Talent!

Give everyone a chance to show their skills off with a “Britain’s Schools Have Got Talent!” night! Charge a small registration fee and a nominal amount for tickets, and get your songbirds, magicians and stand-up comics to entertain the masses!

And, if you’ve got staff members who feel like they’ve missed their calling – and who are brave enough to face their students! – why not get some of the teachers involved?

We’re sure that you’ll get plenty of “support” from your students, and our staging will make sure that you’re right where they can see you!

5. Not Sporty? Get Arty!

Not everything in support of Sport Relief has to be active!

If you’ve got a school full of talented artists, why not commission some pieces for a Sport Relief exhibition? Ask your students to think about what sport, activity, charity and community mean to them, and organise a special showing of their art-work.

With our single-level modular staging, you can give their artistic efforts pride of place in your assembly or sports hall, and invite visitors to come and see – and maybe bid on! – some of the beautiful pieces on display!
